Mackenzi Tallcott, MS, CCC-SLP

Mackenzi graduated from SIU Edwardsville in 2013 with her Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of settings in different parts of the country, including Iowa, Missouri, Texas, and Illinois. She has served the pediatric population through Early Intervention (birth - 3), public schools (PreK - High School), and in the outpatient setting. She has also worked with adults in acute inpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation settings.​
​
Mackenzi lives in Quincy with her husband, Adam, and their 3 sons, Blake, Luke, and Jace. She is an active member of Madison Park Christian Church where she serves on the Encounter Ministry and LoveForm Pregnancy Ministry. She has a love of music and plays the piano, guitar, and cello and also enjoys songwriting and performing vocally. She enjoys cooking, running, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Samantha completed her undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2012 and then went on to Truman State University and graduated with a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2015.
​
She has served pediatric and adult populations in a variety of settings, including at Blessing Hospital in Homecare, Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and, Outpatient Rehabilitation. She also served the pediatric population through the Liberty School District.​
​
Samantha and her husband met in high school and have two amazing daughters together. They love the outdoors and staying active. They have horses, dogs, chickens, and a garden that keep them busy.

"What I enjoy most about being an SLP is that I can work in a variety of settings. I love that I get to work with such diverse age groups and skills. I am ALWAYS learning, so it NEVER gets boring. Being able to work first-hand with patients as they achieve their goals, no matter how big or small, is a joy that never gets old."

Lauren attended Butler University for her undergraduate coursework and graduated with a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Fontbonne University in 2012. She has gained a rich variety of experience, including working with children in the school setting and through Early Intervention (clinic, in-home, daycares, virtual). She has also worked with adults in acute care and rehabilitation hospital setting.​
Along with her husband and three kids, she enjoys being active in the Quincy community, which is her hometown, following a semi-recent move from St. Louis where she and her husband met and began their family. In her free time, Lauren enjoys cooking, being outside, exercise, traveling, attending and supporting their children at their activities and events.

Teresa Douglas, MS, CCC-SLP

With over 17 years of experience in both educational and medical settings, Teresa is a dedicated speech-language pathologist committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. A graduate of Western Illinois University, Class of 2008, she has spent her career serving children and adults across a variety of settings, including the Quincy Early Childhood and Family Center, Chaddock School, and Blessing Health System—where she continues to work today.
​
Teresa is especially passionate about empowering families with the tools and strategies they need to support their child’s communication development. A strong advocate for supporting brain development, she believes in a whole-child, family-centered approach to therapy.
​
Outside of work, Teresa enjoys reading, sewing, flower gardening, and cruising in her Dune Buggy. She has been married to her grade school sweetheart for 41 years, and they share two sons, one daughter-in-law, and two young grandchildren who keep life fun and active.

I especially enjoy partnering with parents—helping them become active participants in their child's progress.
